Thanksgiving Printable: A Bird That Serves

0

Nothing says Thanksgiving more than turkey (or tofurkey in some cases). Thanksgiving in the military often means spending the holiday away from family and with friends in a far off place.

Here, we’ve combined that main dish plus service to our country for a fun craft.

This three page Thanksgiving printable is sure to keep your little turkey busy over the break. Grab some scissors, crayons and tape, and go to town. Represent all branches of the military in your turkey or stick with your favorite.

Print out one copy and color it yourself, have each kid do his or her own, or print out several copies and let guests make a place card for Thanksgiving dinner.

When you are finished, take a picture of your creation and post it with the hashtag #birdthatserves so we can see what you came up with. Have fun!
