Make the Last Days of Summer ROCK!

2
This simple but beautiful rock made our day, as I’m sure it will for the next group to find it.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (pun totally intended), you’ve probably heard about or seen The Kindness Rocks Project (or one of its MANY offshoots) in action.

The concept is simple — brighten someone’s day by painting rocks, hiding them in your neighborhood for others to find, and then hunting for some yourself!

Join your local Facebook group to connect with others and experience the fun together! I can’t think of a better way to release some creative energy, spend time together as a family, and get a little exercise during the last beautiful days of summer. That’s a triple win in my book!

Military bases all over the country — and even the world — have been participating in the fun, as well.

We’d love to see your favorite finds in the comments and links to your local Facebook groups if you’d like to spread the love. Enjoy the hunt!

Christian Knutson
Christian is an Army wife since 2007 and home educator to three beautiful children. When she’s not teachin’ those babies or dreaming up things to write to you lovely ladies, she devours books, consumes copious amounts of coffee and tries to spend as much time as possible being active outdoors. Her other hobbies include trying to get people to pronounce her name properly (it’s a doozy!), making obscure 90s pop-culture references and embarrassing her family by singing waaaaay too loudly and confidently in proportion to actual skill. She strongly dislikes relaxing (where my ADHD ladies at?!), and considers herself a recovering perfectionist/anxious mess and continual work-in-progress. (Spirit of honesty and all that, you know.)
